Evelyn R. Kelly

_{Evelyn R. Kelly, 78, of S. Abington Twp. died Monday night at Geisinger CMC in Scranton surrounded by her family. Her husband of 53 years is Robert J. Kelly.}

_{Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Richardson) Hills. She graduated from Scranton Tech High School and retired from Nichols Village, where she worked as a bookkeeper.}

_{Evelyn was a devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her family. Evelyn also enjoyed gardening, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.}

_{Surviving are a brother William Hills; daughter Melissa Kelly; two sons, Kyle Kelly and wife Tatyana, Eric Kelly and wife Sydney; four grandchildren, Rachel, Sophia, Parker, and McKenna, as well as many nieces and nephews.}

_{She was preceded in death by three siblings, John (Jack) Hills, Judy Bideganeta, and Carol Lennox.}

_{A Funeral Service will be held Monday at 10 am from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremations Services Inc., 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit, followed by Interment at Forest Hill Cemetery in Dunmore.}

_{The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5 pm at the funeral home.}

_{In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are asked to be made to The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.}
