Evelyn Kahle Kapp, 93, of Kemmertown, formerly of Clarks Summit, died Monday evening at Gluco Lodge Assisted Living in Kemmertown Pa. She was the wife of the late Glenn W. Kapp, who died in 2001.

Born in Venus Pa, she was the daughter of the late Harry P. and Olive Detar Kahle. She was a graduate of Shippenville High School. She was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church, Clarks Summit.

Evelyn was very active in her church and devoted her life to the Lord and caring for her family. Her main passion in life was her marriage to her husband Glenn, her three children, and her beloved grandchildren.

Surviving are three sons Glenn E. Kapp, Snydersville; Doug K. Kapp and wife Flora, Pottstown; and Gregory J. Kapp and his wife Amy, Stroudsburg; four grandchildren Ryan, Michael, Brian, and Jeffrey Kapp, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters Arlene Hugus, Janet Hanna, and Louise Dunn.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11am from the Heritage Baptist Church, 415 Venard Rd. S. Abington Twp., with services by Rev. Glenn Amos, pastor. Interment will be private in Newton Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 5 to 8pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit Pa. 18411.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Heritage Baptist Church at above address.
