Ethel E. Caden

Ethel E. Caden, Clarks Summit, died Saturday morning at the Scranton Healthcare Center.  She was the widow of William F. Caden who died in 2006.

Born in Susquehanna County in 1928, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church and, prior to her retirement, she worked in the cafeteria for the Abington Heights School District.

Surviving are three sons: Terry and his wife Barbara, York, PA, Rodney and his wife Jill, Clarks Summit, PA, and Thomas and his wife Linda, Houston, TX; a sister, Doris King, CA; four grandchildren: Dianna Summers and her husband Dave, Brian Caden and his wife Stacy, Matthew Caden, Shawn Caden and his partner, Kate O'Malley; five great grandchildren: Kami, Noah, Phaedra, Aldous and Ignatia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10am at Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit, by Msgr. Michael J. Delaney, pastor. Interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Waverly.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
