Ethel Marie (Nana) Bushko, age 99 of Clarks Summit died peacefully April 19th 2010. Her husband Stephen C. Bushko died January 8th 1973.
Born in Scranton daughter of the late Louis and Ilona Hvasta. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and was employed as a secretary at Lourdesmont for twenty five years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Church of St. Gregory and was one of the very first Eucharistic ministers at the parish.
Surviving are two daughters, Marilyn Druck and her husband David with whom she resided and Louise Saputo and her husband James, Rockville, MD; seven grandchildren, Edward Druck and his wife Tammy, Karen Druck Rosso and her husband Anthony, Susan Druck DeCicco and her husband Antonio, Stephen Druck and his wife Jennifer, James Saputo Jr. and his wife Anne, Suzanne Saputo Mitchell and her husband Patrick and Christopher Saputo; fourteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
The funeral will be Tuesday with Mass at 10am at the Church of St. Gregory, N. Abington Rd., Clarks Green. Private interment will be in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Blakley.
There will be no calling hours.
