Esther L. Vanfleet

Esther L. VanFleet, 91, of Dalton, died on Saturday at Allied Skilled Nursing Facility in Scranton.  Her husband is Richard VanFleet, the couple had been married for 71 years.

Born in Marshbrook, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mervin and Bethel Marcy Smith.  She graduated from Benton High School, Class of 1945 and was a member of the Church of the Epiphany, Clarks Summit.

Also surviving is her son, Randy VanFleet and his wife, Nan, Douglasville; a daughter, Judy Henning and her husband, George, Hershey; five grandchildren, Michael and Sara VanFleet and Adam, Aaron and Susan Henning; five great grandchildren, Avery and Nathan VanFleet and Jordan, Paige and Maxwell Henning.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
