Elizabeth B. "Betty" Dunlap, of Lebanon, Pa., formerly of Newton Twp., died Saturday afternoon at the Cornwall Health Center. Her husband, Robert B. Dunlap, died in July, 1978. The couple married on Oct. 5, 1954.
Born in Mary D, Pa., Schuylkill County, daughter of the late Adoph and Wilhelmina Schintz-Berner, she was a resident of Lebanon for 20 years. She was a member of Eastern Star Juanita Chapter 8, First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit, the Clarks Summit Women's Association and the Abington Women's Club.
Betty was a world traveler. She lived in Saudi Arabia from 1955-1974. She traveled all over Europe and the Middle East, as well as the United States on bus trips and cruises.
Surviving are two daughters, Beverly Polcha and husband, Paul, Scranton; and Tracey Marie Dunlap and companion, Lillian Mendez, Naples, Fla.; a grandson, Robert Polcha, Clarks Summit; and a sister, Louise Bealer, Cornwall, Pa.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Florence Toncich, Minnie Berner and Mary Berner; and a brother, William Berner.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Abington Hills Cemetery, South Abington Twp. Friends and relatives may call Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m., with Eastern Star services at 7.
