Edwin L. Scott Jr., 60, of Old Forge, died suddenly Friday evening at Geisinger Community Center, Scranton. He leaves behind his wife, the former Ann Marie Juice.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Edwin Sr. and Maryellen Gardner Scott. In earlier days, he worked as a truck driver for Donvito Trucking, Dave Clancey and Bolus Trucking. He was a devoted volunteer for the Friends of the Poor.
He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
Also surviving are his children, Stephanie Lewis and her husband, Robert; Danielle Scott; Tiffany Scott and her partner, Gwen; Anthony Scott and his partner, Amanda; siblings, Wanda Bagg, Jeff Scott and David Scott; grandchildren, Joseph, Daymon, John James, Langston, Felicia, Gianna, Aleisha and Abigail; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two sons; and two uncles, Francis and David.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
The family requests no flowers; however memorial contributions for the family may be made at the funeral home.
