Edward J. Snell, 51, of Newton Twp. died Thursday evening at The Gardens in Scranton.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Edward and Lucille Gretkowski Snell. He attended Abington Heights school and worked at Monroe Muffler as a mechanic most of his life. He was of the Catholic Faith.
Also surviving is a sister Debbie Snell, Clarks Summit; a nephew Brian Durso and niece Chrissy Glassman.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 am from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc.

Friends may call from 10 am until the time of the service. Interment will follow in Clarks Green Cemetery.
