Edward Mizenko, 71, of Tunkhannock, died unexpectedly at Tyler Memorial Hospital in Tunkhannock. He was the husband of Eleanore Miles Mizenko. The couple has been married for over forty five years.
Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late Joseph and Tillie Redmerski Mizenko. He worked for many years at Miles Foundry and prior to his retirement he was employed at Golden Tech Chairlift Co.
Ed enjoyed the outdoors especially camping, fishing, and hunting.
Also Surviving is a son Adam Mizenko, Wilkes-Barre; three daughters Kim Coffee and her husband Joseph, GA; Christina Becker and her husband Warren, TX; and Shannon Rogers and her husband Patrick, NC; three brothers Joseph Mizenko and his wife Barbara, Exeter; and Peter Mizenko, Bear Del.; and Barry Ahlbrandt and wife Angel, Oak Point TX; three sisters RaeAnn Arnone and her husband John, Kingsley; Kathy Snyder and her husband Doug, Rapid City SD; and Ann Clevenger and her husband Curtis, Rio Grand NJ; four grandsons; six granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son Edward Mizenko Jr. and a brother Christopher Mizenko.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held Sunday from 2 to 6pm at the Mizenko Residence in Tunkhannock. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
