Edith M. Miller, 70, of Clarks Summit, died Tuesday evening at Northeast Regional Hospital. Her husband of more than 50 years is Richard E. Miller Sr.
Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Harold and Edith O'Connor, she was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church, Clarks Summit, and a loyal supporter of the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School.
Also surviving are a son, Richard Miller Jr. and wife, Donna, Wllkes-Barre; two daughters, Karen Malsam, Browndale; and Debbie Miller, Clarks Summit; several brothers, sisters and grandchildren.
A blessing service will be held Sunday at 6 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, by Monsignor James McGarry, pastor of Our Lady of the Snows Church. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lupus Foundation, 615 Jefferson Ave., Scranton, PA 18510.
