Dorothy Huggler, 87, of Ransom, died peacefully Tuesday morning at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Huggler who died in 2011.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Julia Mlinarski. She was a graduate of Old Forge High School. Dorothy encompassed a genuine compassion and love for everyone. She devoted her life to her church and her family making sure to enjoy the best life had to offer whether it was sitting at little league games, spending time with friends, or taking care of others. Her happiness came from her spirituality and the love of her family. Her grandchildren have had a wonderful role model.
Surviving are two sons Robert and his wife Kathy, Baltimore Md.; and Darin and his wife Lynne, Ransom; a sister Pearl Smith and her husband Nat, Wilmington Del.; five grandchildren Matthew, Collin, Dane, Samantha, and Dakota Huggler; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister Justina Rodalunas.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11am from the Country Alliance Church, 14014 Orchard Dr., Clarks Summit. Pa 18411. Interment will be in Milwaukee Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday 9:30am until time of service at the Church.
