Doris Lillian Owens, 94, of Lake Winola, died peacefully on Monday at her son's home in Montrose.
She was the wife of the late Robert M. Owens whom she was married to for more than 65 years.
Born in Reading PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Seering Siegfried. Doris lived in many places in Pennsylvania but spent the last 55 years in Clarks Green, Lake Winola and Montrose. She loved to travel, host parties at the lake for Water Carnival, and play golf and bridge at the Canoe Club.
Surviving are a son, Robert Owens (Karen) of Montrose, and a daughter, Michelle Miller (Michael Dobbins) of Audubon, PA. She has 14 grandchildren: Ryan Miller (Christina), Cara Miller-Frohman (Eric), Michael Dobbins, (Kyoungnam An), Elijah Wagers (Michelle), Shana Slaybaugh (Chris), Mark Dobbins (Jamie), Josh Owens (Megan), Hannah Battling (John), Rachel, Joseph, Caleb Owens (Kaylee), Seth, Levi and Elias Owens; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Doris was predeceased by brother, Frank Siegfried of Reading and daughter, Kimberly Wagers of Lake Winola.
Due to Covid restrictions, a service will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit.
