Doris F. Brown, 92, a resident of Golden Living Care Center, Tunkhannock, formerly of Clarks Summit, died Friday night at Tyler Memorial Hospital, Tunkhannock. Her husband, Wallace J. Brown, died in 1994.
Born in Kenmore, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Alice Troutman Blank. Before retirement, she was the secretary for the dean of students at Keystone College and the area director of Youth for Understanding for exchange students for 10 years. She was a member of Clarks Summit United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the couple's class. She was a resident of Clarks Summit for more than 50 years.
Surviving are two sons, Al Welles Brown, Laceyville; and Tim Brown, Alexandria, Va.; a daughter, Bonnie Brown, Mills, Mass.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Fairlawn Cemetery in Dalton.
Arrangements by the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit.
