Donna Rene Pregmon, 52, of So. Abington Twp., died Sunday evening at her home. Her husband of 34 years is Mark Pregmon.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Douglas and Lillian Battenberg Judge of Scranton. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School, class of 1981.
Donna faced a long, losing battle with an illness and fought until the end. Her family will remember her as a fighter, a caring wife, an always proud mother to her three girls and a constantly smiling grandmother, doting over her "sunshines", her grandchildren.
Also surviving are her three daughters, Melissa Kelso and her husband Jason, Kristin Pregmon-Velez and her husband William, and Lindsay Pregmon; five sisters, Annette Giza, Barbara Tassey, Lisa Firestone, Janet Strelecki, Michelle Lewis and a brother, Patrick Judge; two grandchildren, Lucas Velez and Jolene Kelso; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother Douglas "Sonny", Judge, Jr., and a beloved Aunt Kathy Battenberg.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Abington Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends today from 5 to 7 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, PA.
Donna's favorite holiday by far was Christmas. In lieu of flowers, her family urges you to help out a local child this holiday season by donating to the Lackawanna County Office of Youth & Family Services, Adopt an Angel Program, Court House Annex Building, 200 Adams Ave., Scranton, PA 18503.
