Donna J. Crook Richards

Donna J. Crook Richards died Friday evening at the Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton.  She was the wife of Kenneth Richards. The couple have been married for 64 years.

Born in Clarks Summit, she was the daughter of the late Sterling Edward and Grace Rose Hedglin Crook Sr.  Prior to her retirement she was employed by Keystone College and worked previously at the University of Scranton.  Donna enjoyed crafting and especially sewing show clothing for her grandchildren's horse shows.

Also surviving are a son, J. Michael Richards and his wife Alice, NJ, daughters Susan Davis and her husband Mark, VA, and Lisa Landsiedel and her husband Roy, Dalton; sisters Janice Kimbrough and Barbara Crook, both of FL, Sandra Davis, Avoca; ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline S. Richards and her brother S. Edgar Crook.

The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m.  at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Newton Cemetery.
