Donald Stanley Naglak, 88, of Clarks Summit, died Saturday morning at the Commonwealth Hospice in Regional Hospital of Scranton. His wife is the former Delores Basalaga.
Born in Dickson City, son of the late John and Cecelia Rash Naglak, he was the owner-operator of Don's Market in Clarks Summit for 49 years. He was a proud Army veteran serving in World War II. He was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Scranton.
Also surviving are a brother, John; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Carol Naglak; and a brother, Ted Naglak.
The funeral will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Service., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by the Rev. Nicholas Ferencz, pastor of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. Interment, Abington Hills Cemetery.
Friends may call Monday, 5 to 8 p.m., with a panachida service at 5. In lieu of flowers, memorials may go to the donor's favorite charity.
