Diana Ann Welsing, died Sunday afternoon at Lackawanna County Health Care in Peckville. Her husband was the late John J. Welsing.
Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Numiaec Shebak. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a practical nurse in New York City and later by the Clarks Summit State Hospital in Newton Twp.. She was a member of Nativity BVM Church and a member of the Holy Rosary Society.
Surviving is her niece and care giver Joyce Negvesky, and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four bothers Andrew, George, John, and Michael; and one sister Catherine.
A memorial mass will be held Saturday at 10 am from the Nativity BVM Church , 99 East Tiogia St. Tunkhannock Pa.
