Deborah Jane Brown

Deborah Jane Brown, 58, of Factoryville, died Sunday evening at home. Her longtime companion of twenty two years was Stephen Brower.

Born in Scranton she was the daughter of the late Harold and Betty Jane Tigue White. She was a graduate of Abington Heights High School in 1974 and was employed as a caregiver for various organizations.

Deborah's main passion in life was caring for people who need assistance. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Also surviving is a son Dennis Melia, Scranton; two brothers Douglas White, Clarks Summit; and Harold White and his wife Joan, Tunkhannock; two nieces Cindy Kane and her husband Ron, and their children Ryan and Alex Kane, Hunlock Creek; and Danell Grey and her husband Mike, and their son Zachary Grey; also of Hunlock Creek.

A funeral service will be held Thursday at 5 pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit Pa. 18411. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

Friends may call Thursday from 2 pm until time of service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, 600 Baltimore Ave, Wilkes-Barre Pa. 18702.
