David F. Wolsiffer

David F. Wolsiffer, 75, of Clarks Summit, died Saturday morning at his home. His wife and care giver is Pamela Curtis Wolsiffer. The couple has been together for 22 years , married for 17 .

Born in Scranton he was the son of the late Frank and Mildred Graf Wolsiffer. He was a graduate of Abington Heights High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the United State Air Force. Prior to his retirement he was the owner and operator of Ok Tire Service in Clarks Summit. He was of catholic faith.

Dave, better known as "OK Dave" had a deep passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles, but his true love in his life was spending time with his family.

Also surviving is a son Thomas Wolsiffer, Clarks Summit; a daughter Amy Wolsiffer, Clarks Summit; a brother in law Robert Curtis and his wife Dawn, Dupont; father and mother in law Robert and Ann Marie Curtis, Old Forge; a niece, three nephews, a great nephew and several aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother Tom Wolsiffer and a sister Joan Jones.

The family would like to thank Dr. Eugene Harasym and the nurses at Traditional Home Health Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to Dave during his illness.

A blessing service will be held Wednesday at 6:30 pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St Clarks Summit Pa. 18441. With services by the Abington Memorial VFW post 7069 to follow. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends from 3:30 pm until time of service.
The family requests no flowers and any donations may be made to the charity of donor's choice.
