David White

David E. White, 81, of Springville, died Monday at home. He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Idella Morgan White, in 2004.

Born in Springville, son of the late Homer and Ruth Newton White, he was a lifelong resident of Springville, where he worked as a self-employed dairy farmer.

David was an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was also a member of Springville Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Ronald A., Clarks Summit; Neil E., Old Tappan, N.J.; and Donald E., Valley Cottage, N.Y.;, a sister, Nettie O'Conner, Bedford, N.Y.; and six grandchildren and three great- grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services to be officiated by the Rev. Roger Rosenau, of Springville Baptist Church.

Interment, Miller Cemetery, Scott Township.

Friends may call Thursday, 10 until the time of service. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
