David T. Murrin of Clarks Summit died Saturday morning at Community Medical Center. His wife is the former Lori Corcoran. The couple had been married for 12 years.
Born in Scranton, son of the late August G. and Gertrude Hawks Murrin, he was self-employed in the flooring business.
Also surviving are a daughter, Lauren Cadden, Scranton; three brothers, Donald Guard, Old Forge; Robert Guard, Milford; and Daniel Guard, Allentown; four sisters, Christine Blumenfeld, Clarks Summit; Helen Tucker, Exeter; Gertrude Guard, Scranton; and Debbie Slocum, Scranton; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews, including his godson, Billy Tucker.
He also was preceded in death by a brother, August.
Private services were conducted at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements by the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
