David "Butch" Benjamin of South Abington Twp. died Monday in Wilkes-Barre after a lengthy illness. He and his wife, the former Deborah L. Moore, would have been married 26 years on Sunday.

Born in Moscow, he was the son of the late Alfred and Juanita Baker Benjamin. Before retirement, he worked at Tobyhanna Army Depot for 25 years as an electronics technician. He was a disabled Navy veteran and was very proud of his military service during the Vietnam War era. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church and VFW Post 7069, Clarks Summit.

Also surviving are four daughters, Jessica Baglieri, Clarks Summit; Gina Benjamin, Moosic; Sarah Folks, Scott Twp.; and Rachel Benjamin, South Abington Twp.; three sisters, Claudia Seaman, Old Forge; Bonnie Mazzola, Hollisterville; and Veronica Davis, Millersburg; and three granddaughters, Angelina Baglieri, Seveah Folks and Samayah Folks.

The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Heritage Baptist Church, 415 Venard Road, South Abington Twp. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

Friends may call on Thursday, 10 until the time of service, at the church. Arrangements by Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
