Dale R. Ziesemer of Scott Twp. died Sunday evening after being stricken ill.
Born in Scranton, son of Willard and Pamela Demming Ziesemer, Scott Twp., he was a 1982 graduate of Lakeland High School and was employed as an electrician for LCS Inc., Dickson City. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying NASCAR and Miami Dolphins football, but his special passion was hunting and fishing. Dale was of the United Methodist faith. Dale was a devoted grandson, son, brother, father, uncle and friend to so many.
Also surviving are two daughters, Stephanie Ziesemer and Terra Ziesemer; his grandmother, Edith Ziesemer; a brother, Mark Ziesemer and wife, Lynn; a sister, Kristin Shope and husband, Richard; three nieces, Holly Ziesemer, Emily Shope and Gabrielle Ziesemer; a nephew, Zachary Ziesemer, all of Scott Twp.; aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, by the Rev. Linda M. Sweezy of the United Methodist Church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from 4 until the time of the service on Wednesday.
