D. Gayle O'Malley

D. Gayle O'Malley, 89, of Clarks Green passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Allied Services Hospice Center, Scranton. She is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Robert O'Malley in 1996.

Born on February 23, 1937, in Dunmore, she is the daughter of the late Helen Biesecker.

Gayle was a 1954 graduate of Dunmore High School. She was formerly employed by Eureka Specialty Printing Company and later worked for the Abington School District.

For more than 50 years, she was a devoted member of her card club, where she treasured the fellowship, laughter, and many memories shared with longtime friends. She was also a former member of the Abington Junior Women's Club.

Faith was an important part of Gayle's life. She was a charter member of the Church of St. Gregory, where she faithfully served as a cantor and member of the choir.

Gayle also enjoyed traveling, especially taking bus trips and spending time visiting new places with friends.

She is survived by her children, Pat (Laura) O'Malley, Rick (Lori) O'Malley, Christine (Randy) Ramik; grandson, Robert O'Malley.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Church of Saint Gregory, 330 N. Abington Rd., Clarks Summit, PA 18411. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Waverly.

A visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the time of mass on Saturday at the church.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at Allied Hospice Center for their care of Gayle.
