Carol Noe Crouse, 68, of Clarks Green, Pa and Key Colony Beach, Fl, beloved wife and soul mate of Robert J. Crouse, passed peacefully on February 4, 2010 after a courageous battle with multiple inoperable brain tumors. She was born on December 25, 1941 in Summit, NJ the daughter of the late John and Ruth Noe. She later moved to Pa with her family and became a life long resident of Clarks Green. Recently Carol joined other snow birds establishing a second residence in Key Colony Beach, Fl. Carol was a faithful parishioner of the First Presbyterian Church in Clarks Summit, Pa and Presbyterian Kirk of the Keys in Marathon, Fl. In both churches she welcomed all, spearheaded new programs and drove growth. She was a devoted Christian, friend, mother, sister and wife. While her life was too full to mention all of her experiences and all those who touched her life, most recently Carol could be found teaching water aerobics class, enjoying Mah-Jong or with her dear friends in Pa. As busy and full as her life was Carol always managed private time with those closest to her. She was so much more than a friend to the community around her. Carol will be remembered by her friends and coworkers at Metropolitan Life from where she retired after many years of devoted service. Carol always made herself available to those that needed her. She was an angel and a second mother to many of those that needed her; by her kindness to friend and stranger she entertained angels unawares. She is now at peace with all those that have been waiting for her. Besides her husband of 46 loving years, she leaves behind her son, Jonathan, daughter, Laura and Son in law Rob. She also leaves her brothers Jack Noe and wife Jean of New Jersey and Robert Noe of Florida and sister in law Betsy Wenger and family. Her family would like to thank all of Carol's friends and neighbors, the Keys VNA/Hospice for their care and time as well as all those at Mariners Hospital that took care of Carol. A great spirit may be gone, but will never be forgotten. Two memorial services will be held. The first for Florida friends and family was held on February 12th at 11:00am Presbyterian Kirk of the Keys 8877 Overseas Highway Mile Marker 51.5 Marathon, FL. The second service will be in Pennsylvania at the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit 300 School Street April 24th at 11:00am. Burial will be in Clarks Green Cemetery, Clarks Green, Pa. Memorial donations may be made to The Kirk of the Keys Mission Fund. 88th St. Marathon, Fl. 33050.
