Craig Kenneth Henry, 65, of Mill City, died Friday at Allied Skilled Nursing. His wife of 38 years is the former Carol Lehman.
Born in Paterson, N.J., son of the late Kenneth and Helen Doran Henry, he was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Church, Lake Winola. Before retirement, he was employed with Chamberlain Manufacturing, now General Dynamics in Scranton, as a gauge lab inspector. He was a graduate of Scotland School for Veterans' Children in Scotland, Pa., and also attended Wilkes College.
He enjoyed driving his 1967 Buick Skylark to car cruises, where he made many great friends. In the past years, he enjoyed relaxing times fishing, reading and photographing weddings, which kept him busy.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ken Sebastianelli and the staff of the ICU at Community Medical Center for their care and compassion as well as Allied Skilled Nursing for the wonderful care and kindness given to Craig the past eight months.
Also surviving are two cousins, Marian Kearney and Geraldine Hopkins, both of Pittston; and several other cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Lake Church. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Lake Winola. Friends are asked to go directly to church.
