Connie Gaylord Roache, 75, of Tunkhannock passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the Tunkhannock Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. She is survived by her companion of 28 years, Frank Gudman.

Born on March 11, 1951, in Meshoppen, she is the daughter of the late George and Vera (Mann) Gaylord, Jr.

She was a 1969 graduate of Wyalusing High School. Connie continued her education by completing the computer program at ECPI in Binghamton, NY. She dedicated many years to serving others through her work as a secretary. She was employed by Community Counseling Services, first in Tunkhannock and later in Wilkes-Barre, where she remained until her retirement.

Connie found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially tending to her flower gardens. She also valued giving back to her community and was a proud member of the Falls Lions Club.

In addition to her companion, she is survived by her son, Paul, along with his wife and children; sister, Gene Anne Woodruff, Nancy Tinna and her husband Rick; brother, Thomas Gaylord and his wife Debra; nephews, Chris, Mark, Jayme, Jason, Jeffrey, Jacob, and Joshua; Goddaughter, Autumn; special friend, Dawn Welch; Frank's children, Crystal and Erin; several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Gary Woodruff; niece, Noel Gaylord.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations in Connie's memory can be made to the Dennis Strong American Legion Post 457, PO Box 457, Tunkhannock, PA 18657.
