Connie Lacey, Clarks Summit died Tuesday afternoon at the
Hospice Unit of the Mercy Hospital. She was the widow of Thomas James
Lacey who died May 5, 1980.

Born in Scranton, daughter of Betty Carr Kellam, Clarks Summit and the
late David Kellam. Prior to retiring in 2000, she was employed by
Abington Heights School District for over 20 years. She was a
member of Our Lady of the Snows Church.

She was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother. Her seven grandchildren
were the light of her life. She touched so many lives and will be greatly
missed
by all that knew her. She had a great love for both animals and the
beach.

Also surviving is her son, David Lacey and his wife Terri, Clarks
Summit; daughters, Patricia Swarts, Clarks Summit, Kelly Gauntlett
and her husband, Tom, Clarks Summit, and Elizabeth Casciaro, and
her husband Tom, Burke, VA; her companion, David Shook with whom
she resided; a brother, Ron Kellam, and his wife Barb, Lancaster, PA;
grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Thomas James (T.J.) Lacey, Justin Swarts,
Megan and Sean Corcoran, Lauren and Ryan Casciaro.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30am from Our
Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit.

There will be no calling hours.
