Cody P. Wood

Cody P. Wood, 21 of Clarks Summit, died unexpectedly Sunday morning.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of Christopher Wood, Newton Twp., and Nori Namiotka Price and step father, Dean Price of Nicholson.

He was a 2012 graduate of Abington Heights High School and was currently attending Keystone College studying Accounting. He was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Church.

Cody enjoyed working on cars, boosting, riding his quad and playing pool. He had an incredible heart and was always polite and greeted everyone with a smile. He was an amazing listener and confidant to his many friends.

Also surviving is a brother, Chase Wood, Nicholson; a sister, Katherine Wood, Lake Winola; maternal grandparents, Lenore and Art Namiotka; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Guy and Patricia Wood.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 300 S. State St., Clarks Summit. All those attending should go directly to the church. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 PM at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, PA 18411.
