Clyde Elmer "Butch" LaCoe, Factoryville died early Sunday morning in his home.  His companion and the love of his life is Margaret L. Michaels.

Born in Scranton he was the son of the late Clyde and Evelyn Harris LaCoe.  Prior to his retirement he was a driver for MEM Trucking and Scranton Craftsman.  Early in his life he would work on the family farm in Newton.

Also surviving are his sons, Andrew, Scranton, Frank, Dickson City, and Michael and his wife Kay, Clarks Summit; daughters Evelyn LaCoe, Montana, Julie Hunsinger, Scranton, and Katie Davis and her husband Edgar, Ransom Twp.; brother Gary and his wife Rose, South Carolina; a stepsister Janet Elders, North Carolina; several grandchildren and a few great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 7pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.  Friends may call from 5-7pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Rd., So. Abington Twp., PA  18411.
