Cleon B. Waters

Cleon B. Waters, 87, of Macungie passed away on January 18 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Beverly J. Waters and the late Alice Nichols Waters who passed away in 2005.

Born in Sallisaw, OK, he was the son of the late Albert and Beulah (McCauley) Waters. He was a Navy veteran serving in the Pacific during World War II and stateside during the Korean Conflict. He was a graduate of Wichita State University and was a management retiree of PPL. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown.

Also surviving are two sons, Charles A. Waters and his wife, Amy, Edward A. Waters and his wife Ellen; grandchildren, Erin, Cit, Archer and Cawley; two sisters, Clara Laizure, Bernice Wheeler and a brother, John Waters; stepsons, John Honnold, and Jeffrey Honnold and his wife Clare.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday in the Chapel of the First Presbyterian Church, Allentown.
Interment will take place on Saturday in the Clarks Green Cemetery.
