Clara M. Huthmaker of Clarks Green died Sunday morning at Mercy Hospital. She was the widow of William H. Huthmaker, who died June 25, 1995.
Born in Ransom Twp., daughter of the late Adam and Edna Huthmaker Miller, she was a resident of Clarks Green for more than 35 years. Before retirement, she worked as a secretary and in the accounting department of Daystrom Co., Kaplan and the Darmafol Candy Co. She was a member of the Elmhurst Country Club and a graduate of Newton-Ransom High School and Lackawanna Business School.
Surviving are a brother, Edwin S. Miller, Clarks Summit; two nieces, Janet Flowers, Ransom Twp.; and Velma Miller, Newton Twp.; a nephew, Knewell Miller, Newton Twp.; grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Norman Miller.
A funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, with services by the Rev. Linda M. Sweezy, pastor of Clarks Green United Methodist Church. Friends may call from 10 until service time. Private interment, Milwaukee Cemetery, Ransom Twp.
