Christopher Scott McKeon, 33, of Greenville, So. Carolina, died Saturday at his home.
Born in Jacksonville, FL, on January 18, 1980, he was the son of Elizabeth Dolphin and Harold McKeon, Jr.
He was a graduate of Bishop Kenny High School, and he earned an Associate's Degree from Florida State College . Chris enjoyed his time traveling around the country in 2002, settling in Greenville where he was employed as an electrician apprentice. He loved hiking in the mountains, playing his guitar, and traveling with his dog, Marley.
Surviving is his sister, Melissa McKeon Powers and her husband, Judson, Greenville, SC; stepmother, Pamela Telis, Jacksonville, FL; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, June and Bernard Dolphin; and his paternal grandparents, Mary Ellen and Harold McKeon, Sr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 am at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit to be celebrated by Msgr. James McGarry. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton.
Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 pm at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Rd., So. Abington Twp., PA 18411.
