Christine Yocum

Christine Grabousky Nole Haddad Yocum, Bethlehem, formerly of Scranton, died Monday. Her husband of 22 years is Ralph Yocum Sr. Her former husband, Elias Haddad, died in 1987.

Christine was born in Scranton on Jan. 23, 1918, daughter of the late Julia and William Grabousky. She enjoyed a long and healthy 92 years of life.

Christine was blessed with four children: three daughters, Christine Nole Evans and husband, David, Bethlehem; JoAnn Nole Seal and husband, Paul, Saratoga, Calif.; and Shirley Nole Lewis De Bowe and husband, Benjamin, Lantana, Fla.; a son, Elias Haddad and wife, Mary Ellen, Taneytown, Md.; seven grandchildren, Kathy Kelly, Douglas Evans, Paul Seal Jr., Bradley Evans, Jeffrey Lewis, Michael Haddad and Susan Haddad; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ceccoli, Scranton; a brother, Edward Grabousky, Jessup; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Clara Caglia.

Friends may call Saturday from 10 to 11:15 a.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Graveside services will be at the Milwaukee Cemetery at 11:30.
