Catherine Feeney

Catherine Feeney, 91 of S. Abington Twp. died Wednesday afternoon at Allied Hospice surrounded by her family. She was the widow of the late Francis X. Feeney who died in 2003, and her first husband the late Herbert Kadison.

Born in Karthaus, PA she was the daughter of the late Aloysius and Monica (Frelin) Liegey. She graduated from St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie when she earned her degree as a registered nurse. She worked most of her life in Manhattan both as a nurse and owning a nurses employment agency in the city. Upon retirement, she spent most her time in the Hamptons and Arizona at her vacation homes.

The family would like to thank the staff at Clarks Summit Senior Living, Allied Hospice, and Regional Hospital for their compassionate care. They would also like to thank Dr. Tracy Galardi for her care over the years.

Also surviving are a sister Ann Davis, Nephews James Davis and Dennis Liegey, Nieces Catherine Lilik and Suzanne Sullivan as well as great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc.
