Caroline M. Kreppel, 90, of Factoryville, died Sunday morning at Willowbrook Senior Living Center in Clarks Summit.
Born in Bronx, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Frank and Caroline Dunst Lung. Before retirement, she was a bookkeeper on Wall Street and, later in life, for Syncro Machine Co. in Perth Amboy, N.J. She was a member of Madison Park Ladies First Aid Auxiliary, the Savvy Seniors, St. Bernadette's Senior Citizens and a bowler for the Madison Park Ladies League.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, attending movies and theater performances, reading and spending time with family.
Surviving are a daughter, Joanne Benson and husband, Richard, North Abington Twp.; three grandchildren, Jeffrey, Karen and Melissa Benson.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Roseanne Elliott.
Visitors may call Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon at Michael Hegarty Funeral Home, 3377 U.S. Highway 9, Old Bridge, N.J. A short blessing service will be given at 11:30. Interment will be at Forest Green Park Cemetery, 535 Texas Road, Morganville NJ 07751. Arrangements are entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
Memorial contributions may be made to Dalton United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society .
