Carole Ann Hazelton

Carole Ann Hazelton of Clarks Summit passed away surrounded by her family on July 5, 2018.  Her husband was the late Leonard Hazelton Sr.

Carole was born on November 26, 1944 to the late James and Elizabeth (Clark) Decker. She was raised in the Bellevue Section of Scranton, attended West Scranton High School, and later worked at Specialty Records. Carole enjoyed spending time with her family.

Carole is survived by her daughters, Sharon Evans and husband David, Clarks Summit, and Donna Durso and husband Chris, Clarks Summit, and her son, Leonard Jr., Clarks Summit; Grandchildren Jessica, Keith, Leonard, Erik, Tiffani, and Alexandra; Great grandchildren, Matthew and Tyler; Several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter Kim Marie, and grandson C.J. Durso.

The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Gilhooley, Jerry Hayes, and PHHC Hospice.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 7:00 pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit, PA. Friends may call from 5 pm until the time of the service. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
