Carol J. Pagano, 67, of Factoryville, died Monday morning at home. Her husband was the late Salvatore Pagano.
Born in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of Carl and Shirley Atherton. Before retirement, she was a registered nurse working as a dietary aide at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Tunkhannock. She enjoyed going to Kettell's Greenhouse for flowers.
She is survived by two daughters, Wendy Leggett and Leslie Jermyn; a son, Allen (Buddy) Vietz Jr. and his wife, Stephanie; six grandchildren, Kimberly, Jason, Zoe, Madyson, Leah and Jamie; nieces, nephews and a sister.
A funeral service will be Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 until time of service.
