Carol A. Fritsch, Dalton, died Tuesday evening in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Robert Fritsch Sr. The couple had been married since June 13, 1969.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late George and Jean Waterman Purdy. She was a graduate of Falls Overfield High School and a member of Lake Winola Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted her life to caring for her family.
Carol loved fishing, playing softball with her husband and was a fan of Aaron Tippin.
Also surviving a son, Robert Fritsch Jr. and his wife, Sandy, Clarks Summit; a daughter, Jeanne Vales and her husband, Robert, Lake Winola; two grandchildren, Kara Vales and Brandon Fritsch; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, George Purdy.
A funeral service and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
