Calvin W. Wilson

Calvin W. Wilson, 94, died at his home in Falls Township on Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Genna Paluszek Wilson.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late George F. and Anna M. Wilson. He served his country during World War II as a member of the Merchant Marines, then the United States Coast Guard. Prior to retirement, Calvin worked as a Plant Manager for over thirty years.

He enjoyed gardening, boating, and reading.  He was also handy with tools and enjoyed repairing and tinkering with things.

Also surviving are son Steven Wilson and wife Cheryl; and grandsons Ryan Wilson of Scranton and Kevin Wilson of New Jersey.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Kupse, and two brothers, Elsford and Vernon Wilson.

The family would like to thank Calvin's caregivers and the nurses of Traditional Hospice for their compassionate care.
