Brian Alan Miller, 48, of Nicholson passed away November 8 th in the Regional Hospital of Scranton with his family at his side.  His wife is Monique Ann Miller. The couple married on August 20 th 2017 in Niagara Falls.

He was born on July 22 nd 1973 in Wyoming County, son of the late Ronald Alan Miller and also raised by his late grandfather and grandmother, Lois Miller.  Brian graduated from Lackawanna Trail High School and later attended Keystone College.  He was employed at Toyota of Scranton.

Brian was a highly intelligent man who had many talents and passions.  He had an extreme passion for reading, continuous learning, and loved taking tests.  He was known as a fighter in every sense of the word.  He had a passion for Martial Arts, which he started as a young child, to becoming an MMA fighter in his early 20's.  He was a blacksmith by trade and had a real talent for making hunting knives.  He was an avid hunter and loved being outdoors exploring the woods since he was a young child.  One of his fondest memories was stringing his first bow with his father at age 5.  Throughout his life he was always seen hanging out with his uncle Roger.  He enjoyed the game of golf and enjoyed his time on the course with his uncle Bob and his uncle Roger.  He loved listening to a lot of genres of music.  Brian and his father-in-law bonded over their love of mechanical abilities, automobiles, sports, and their love of watching nature.  He also shared his love of old westerns and old-school shows with his mother-in-law.

Above all else, Brian's greatest joy in life was his family.  His happiest moments were the birth of his daughter, granddaughter, and marriage to his wife.  He looked forward to their Sunday family dinners in the cooler weather and spending time cooking out and enjoying their pool in the summer.

Whether Brian and Monique were both quietly reading, watching TV, or spending time spoiling their lovechild, Puddy Cat, their most precious moments were just spending time together.  The love they had for one another was a true love story and, although it was cut short, it will always live on.

Also surviving are his daughter Kristen Miller and Ricky Garcia; granddaughter Veronica Grace Garcia; in-laws Glenn and Esther Snedeker; aunt and uncle Robert and Sue Miller; aunt Ginger Miller; cousins Amy Miller-Stegbauer and her husband, Rob, Sophie, Ellie and Hailey Stegbauer; brother-in-law Glenn Snedeker; sister-in-laws Josette Smith, Maria Snedeker and Glenda Evans; and a special thank you to his best friend Mike Kamanski for the special help and effort.
