Blanche J. Giammo, formerly of Clarks Summit died Friday afternoon at the Jewish Home in
Scranton. She was the widow of Thomas Giammo who died in 2000.
Born in Cleveland Ohio, daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth Seith Woodcock. She has
been a resident of Clarks Summit since 1966. Prior to retirement she was a Pharmacy
Technician for CVS Pharmacy for over 20 years.
Her family and friends always enjoyed her spaghetti and meatball diners and she always
enjoyed the friendship and comfort of her dogs throughout her lifetime.
Surviving are three daughters, Karen Blakiewicz, Clarks Summit, Carla O'Leary, Scranton,
and Gail A. Goble, Gibson; a brother, Theodore Woodcock, Middlefield, OH; eight
grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 11am from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral
Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit. Interment will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery,
Waverly.
