Beverly Thompson

Beverly Thompson, 74, of Clarks Summit died Wednesday at home surrounded by her family following a battle with cancer. Her husband is Dr. Milo Thompson.
Born December 5, 1935 in South Otselic, NY, she was the daughter of the late Glen and Bertha Brown. She was raised in South Otselic and graduated from South Otselic High School, and in addition pursued education on the collegiate level.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister. She served faithfully alongside her husband who pastored churches in New York, Pennsylvania, and who was president of Baptist Bible College, Clarks Summit, for 15 years. Her true joys involved spending time with and caring for her children, grandchildren, and great grand children, along with traveling with her husband in ministry across the country and elsewhere around the world.
Also surviving are seven children, Susan Hubble and husband David; Deborah Merkel and husband Richard; Daniel Thompson and wife Debra; Carol Ferrari and husband Richard; Stephen Thompson and wife Julie; David Thompson, Timothy Thompson and wife Rhiannon; a sister Arlene Mozo; nineteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 3 at 11:00 AM by Rev. Mark Stuenzi, in the Heritage Baptist Church, 415 Vernard Rd. Clarks Summit
