Betty J. Warner, 82, of Scranton passed away on Wednesday afternoon at Allied Skilled Nursing Facility.  He was the widow of Chester Warner who died in 1982.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lydia Webb Kobesky.  Prior to her retirement she worked in the maintenance department at the Lackawanna County Courthouse.

Surviving are two daughters, Cathy Hazelton and her husband Ron, Scranton, and Cheryl Knutelski and her husband George, Dickson City; a brother Edward Kobesky, Dunmore; four grandchildren, Ronald, George, Aaron and Nicholas.

The family would like to thank the staff at Allied Skilled Nursing and the Hospice workers for their care and compassion during Betty's illness.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs., 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit, PA.
