Betsy L. Davenport

Betsy L. Davenport of Susquehanna, formerly of Clarks Summit, died Sunday morning at Hospice Community Care, Dunmore.

Born in Doylestown, daughter of Howard Greene, Florida, and the late Erma Sherman, she leaves behind a loving partner, Albert "Bud" Chesko, of Susquehanna. She had a deep love and devotion for her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild were the lights of her life.

Also surviving are five sons, Scott Erb and wife, Debbie, Scranton; Todd Erb and wife, Diane, Mayfield; Eric Erb and wife, Nena, Los Angles; Shawn Davenport, San Francisco; and Andrew Markey, Nicholson; a daughter, Tracey Deriphonse and husband, Socrate, Avoca; three brothers, H. Peter Greene, Boyertown; Robert Greene, Nashville, Tenn.; and Steven Greene, Albany, N.Y.; two sisters, Susan Morris, Reading; and Kathy Manning, La Center, Wash.; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Gloria Norton and Linda Varner.

Family and friends may call Thursday, 6 to 9 p.m., at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
