Barbara M. Dondero

Barbara M. Dondero, Clarks Summit, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.  She was the widow of Robert S. Nasella, her first husband, and Louis Dondero, her second husband.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Delores Rost.  Prior to her retirement she was an LPN.  She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the Sweet Adelines in Staten Island, NY and Prescott, AZ.

She was a woman of Protestant faith.  Life took Barbara all over the country.  She traveled to Alaska, Puerto Rico, Durango, CO taking trips by train and also cruises.  She was a "Snow Bird" that enjoyed her two homes in Manchester, NJ and Chino Valley, AZ.

Surviving are her son, Russell Nasella and his wife JoMarie, Newfoundland; grandchildren Nicole Clark and her husband Kyle, Clarks Summit, Monica Nasella and her fiancé Nichoy Anglin, Clarks Summit, Timothy Nasella and his fiancé Berta Tomb, Newfoundland, and Jessica Sacavage and her husband Steve; great grandchildren Kayla, Kaitlynn, Kayci and Ryan Clark, Trinity, Kimora, Jayden, and Nichoy Anglin, Jeffrey and Peter Sacavage.

She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas G. Nasella, and two sisters, Lois Aims and Marcella Reiley.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
