Arthur J. Boyanowski

Arthur J. Boyanowski, 89, of Lake Carey passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.

Born on January 19, 1937, in Laceyville, he is the son of the late Stephen and Josephine (Gryskiewcz) Boyanowski.

Arthur was a 1954 graduate of Laceyville High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 4 years. Following his military service, he worked for Public Service in Elizabeth, New Jersey. In 1972, Arthur became the owner of Lake Carey Manor, which he operated for 30 years until 2002.

He enjoyed vacationing in Key Largo, Florida, where he loved spending time relaxing and enjoying the warm weather. He was also a former member of St. Joachim's Church.

He is survived by his sister, Barbara Marabell; brother, Ronald Boyanowski and wife Beverly; longtime friend, Ann Swarts; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend Arthur's Blessing Service which will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, at 1:00 PM from the Marcho, Sheldon, and Kukuchka Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657 to be celebrated by Deacon Ray Pieretti.

A viewing will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in St. Joachim's Cemetery, Meshoppen.
