Arlene Goldberg Walker

Arlene Goldberg Walker, Dalton, died Wednesday at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton.  She is survived by Robert J. Walker, her husband of 46 years.

Born in Scranton on July 25, 1934, she was the daughter of the late George Goldberg and Sophie Rudnetski Goldberg.  She was a graduate of Central High School and earned an Associates Degree from Lackawanna College.  Arlene was a veteran of the United States Navy and, before her retirement, worked as an Office Manager at Novak Chemical Company.

Also surviving are her daughter Kim Perry; granddaughter Dawn Shygelski and husband David; grandson Sam Schiavi; and great grandchildren Emily, Samantha, and Tyler Shygelski, and Amber Schiavi.

A private service will be held at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State Street, Clarks Summit. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects to the family on Monday after 4 p.m. at Robert and Arlene's home.
