April Kravchenko

April Kravchenko, 46, of Factoryville died Thursday at Geisinger CMC in Scranton.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Andrew Kravchenko and Jeanette Richards. She graduated from Susquehanna High School and worked as a nurse aid for many nursing facilities.

April enjoyed most spending time with her children and Grandchildren. She loved watching lifetime movies and visiting numerous amusement parks. She never passed up a cup of tea, and had a special place in her heart for the Christmas Season.

Surviving are four children, Ashley Ross, Joshua Ross, Zachary Ross, and Allyssa Artley, three brothers Robert, John, and Tim Perini; a sister Debra Leggieri; three grandchildren Keatyn, Aubree, and Lydia; another grandson on the way Greysen; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother Darcey E. Kravchenko and fiancé Richard Artley.

A funerals service will be held Monday at 7 pm from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremations Services Inc. Cremation will follow.

The family will receive friends Monday from 5 until the time of the service.
