Anna Jonkowsky

Anna Jonkowsky passed away Sunday at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton. She was the widow of John Jonkowsky.

Born in Sweet Valley, she was the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Marie McHugh.  A graduate of Scranton High School, she was a devoted wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.  She enjoyed her classic movies, especially Shirley Temple.

She is survived by sons David and wife Irene Henneforth and Mark Henneforth; grandchildren Joshua Henneforth, Alyssa and Josh Savitski; great grandchildren Mia and Kyla Savitski; sister Winnie Roscioli and husband Louie; brother Paul McHugh and wife Geraldine; brother-in-law Jerry Laubach; and nieces and nephews: Lavina Houch, Nelson Helbing, Louie Roscioli, Chris and Shaun McHugh, and Chris, Jeff and Brant Laubach.

She was preceded in death by her sister Peggy Laubach.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home & cremation Services, 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit, Pa.
